Working as a Clinical Psychologist for over 15 years, mainly in the area of acquired brain injury (ABI), spinal cord injury and rehabilitation, I realised that one of the key elements to success for the people being supported, whether it be the individual or those around them, was “inspiration”. There needs to be a passion nurtured to enable the person to change, develop and grow and ultimately achieve their goals. Experience has shown that this works best when everyone is working together in a community setting.
Hence, when the opportunity arose to allow a different focus to my psychological practice, inspire rehab & psychology evolved.
Our practice aims to help people to be inspired to:
- Achieve their goals.
- To help others achieve their goals.
- Learn the skills needed in helping others.
inspirerp currently provides community based clinical psychology services, case management and neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation services in the Sydney metropolitan and surrounding regions. Supports for remote, rural and regional areas will be considered on a case by case basis. Current services include: Broken Hill, Bathurst, Newcastle, Central Coast and Orange.
inspirerp utilises a goal directed approach to help individuals with complex needs, such as ABI and mental health and those supporting them to be inspired and enabled to achieve their goals.
inspirerp can provide supports under Medicare, LTCS, CTP or privately funded. All supports are provided in the community.
