Neuro Forensics provides neuropsychological assessments for individuals with known or suspected conditions impacting the central nervous system or cognitive abilities (e.g. memory, attention, complex reasoning).
We do this in various non-legal and legal contexts, such as individuals involved with the criminal justice system, civil litigation and medico-legal claims (e.g personal injury).
When is a Neuropsychological assessment indicated?
- If the individual’s difficulties involve complaints of cognitive and/or psychological difficulties and there has been a head injury, significant substance use, stroke or other neurological episode, possibly impacting brain functioning
- Neuropsychological assessments can have high relevance to worker’s compensation claims, insurance matters and capacity questions as well as many other legal issues.
